Thereafter, the nation became in- creasingly flying saucer conscious, creating a state of mind that made it possible for four 'teen age Twin Falls boys to cause a mild sensa- tion when they built a model flying disc and tossed into a local yard July 10. This was subsequently re- vealed as a hoax, following investi- gation by the army and FBI. Thereafter the saucer reports tapered off into a few scattered in- cidents until the question was re- vived by this week's occurrences. Speculation has ranged from mention that the discs could be army or navy guided missile experi- ments, or that they could be similar experiments by some foreign coun- try, to "something out of this world." Whatever they are, a lot of people have seen "something."
