I am also aware of similar past cases. The color photographs taken at Grand Blanc, Michigan by Joe Perry, amateur astronomer, on February 13, 1960 is one such case. After notifying the Air Force he was referred to the FBI and an investigation was conducted by two agents from the Flint office. The photographs were subsequently furnished to the Air Force for analysis.
