    Knoxville, Tennessee, maintains a record of unidentified and identified objects, and/or aircrafts which he is requested to contact by radio prior to the Air Force Fighters attempted interception. His record further verified some of the sightings and listed Air Force activity heretofore not reported. Apparently an object traveling at eighty (80) miles per hour from the Northeast to the Southwest, over the restricted area, on 5 November 1950, at 0929 hours, was intercepted by a fighter aircraft according to radar screen readings. The fighter intercepted this object near or over the restricted zone and circled to the right, so as to trail the object for about 20 miles. The pilot reported that he made no visual contact with any object during this interception.
